Alaska, The Grand Finale

This is our last Alaska post...I promise!

Well, there you have it, our trip to Alaska in a nutshell! Thanks so much Grandma Lichty! Everyone had a great time!! It was fun being with the family!

Alaska, Part Three

I was finally feeling better so I got off the boat at the next stop, Skagway! It was nice to get some fresh air.

It was a cute little town.

We passed several waterfalls on our way to Tracy Arm!

It was a cold night on the ship!

We woke up at 5 a.m. the next morning to see the icebergs
and glacier at Tracy Arm. It was fun sailing through the chunks of ice!

Alaska, Part Two

Ok, time for more trip pictures!

Our first stop was in Victoria, Canada. It was a beautiful place...there were flowers everywhere!!

That night we sailed into Alaska! A great view from the ship!

This is where the trip got interesting for me. I got really, really sick. Josh took me to see the Dr. on the ship...I was not excited! I had about every infection imaginable. It was terrible. I got a couple of shots and some meds and went to bed for a couple of days. So I missed Ketchikan and Juneau, but here are some of Josh's photos!

Alaska, Part One

Grandma Lichty treated the family to an Alaskan ten day cruise. The boat left from San Francisco, but we went to California a day early so we could spend time with our favorite family...The Kelly's! It was Suzi's birthday on Friday so we partied all day long:)

We made blueberry pancakes for breakfast!

Josh's mom and brother, Matt, met us for lunch!

We made key lime pie and Texas sheet cake for Suzi's birthday!

After dinner, Suzi blew out her candles. The BIG 40!!

We had a great visit with the Kelly's! Thanks for the fun times!

On Saturday we met up with the Licthy family to go on our big cruise to Alaska!! The boys started the trip off with an explosion of Diet Coke!

We were off with a BANG...or a dud:)
