Alaska, Part Two

Ok, time for more trip pictures!

Our first stop was in Victoria, Canada. It was a beautiful place...there were flowers everywhere!!

Every lamp post had huge flower pots!

A neat, old hotel!

Josh, Tanner, and I went to the gardens to look around.

There were flowers of every kind!

Me and Josh by the pond at the park. I loved the weeping willows!

Victoria was a great stop, but it was time to get back on our boat.
The Dawn Princess!

That night we sailed into Alaska! A great view from the ship!

This is where the trip got interesting for me. I got really, really sick. Josh took me to see the Dr. on the ship...I was not excited! I had about every infection imaginable. It was terrible. I got a couple of shots and some meds and went to bed for a couple of days. So I missed Ketchikan and Juneau, but here are some of Josh's photos!

It was snowing in Ketchikan!

They saw a Bald Eagle in Juneau.

The family took a Tram ride to see Juneau at large.

Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau

Josh by the big glacier!

Sad I missed out!! Stay tuned for more Alaska updates!

  2. Victoria looks awesome. Sorry you got so sick. That is the worst feeling when on Vacation. A year ago my wife and I went to visit her family and we were both "out" for an entire day. Couldn't even get up out of bed.

I really like the name of that Glacier :-).
