Cooking Class with Jim
On Friday night we went to a cooking class with Jim Light, the chef I assist for in my free time. Unfortunately, I have been really busy lately so I haven't done a class in awhile, but Jim let us be his students on Friday. Erin and Kevin joined us for the fun. It was a great class!
We started with Shiitake and Chanterelle Pizza with Goat Cheese. Jim and Amy forming the pizzas.
The mushrooms and goat cheese were great together and the chive flowers added a nice touch!
Next, we had a Golden Beet Carpaccio Salad. The roasted beets with the capers were amazing!
Our entree was Pan-Seared Halibut with Tomato Vinaigrette and Joloff Rice. The halibut was cooked to perfection! It was a very tasty dish!
For dessert we enjoyed Lemon Pudding Cakes with blackberries. What a great way to end the meal!
The Master Chef did it again! Everything was amazing! Love the flower Jim:)
Kevin, Erin, me and Josh. We had a great night out.
THANKS JIM!!!
