Artisan Bread in Five's Pizza Crust
Ok, I am sure everyone is sick of me talking about how amazing the Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day is, but in case you missed that memo I will remind you today:)
We made the master boule recipe and had huge success! We made a big crusty rustic loaf, 2 French baguettes, and 2 pizzas with just one recipe. It was so nice to have the dough in the fridge, whenever we were craving fresh bread or pizza, we just cut off a portion of the dough. This method really is magic.
Josh is a pizza fanatic, so of course we had to see if the dough lived up to our high pizza standards. We made 2 thin crust pizzas and the results were outstanding! The crust was perfect and again, it was SO easy!
So if you still haven't tried this method, get moving! You will be so glad you did! I love that you can make bread, pizza, calzones, sticky buns, bagels, etc. Your choices are endless! So get the book and get baking!! Anyone can do it, I promise!
I'm not sick of you talking about the artisan bread! You know why? because it reminds me to finally frigging make the darn bread already! lol
It's 8am and I would MUCH rather have pizza with my morning latte right now.
Pizza is my favorite way to use this crust! I also use it for stromboli.
Yum, all this take about bread/dough making is making me want to make some!! : ) I used to frequently make bagels but haven't in a very long time! Thanks for sharing.
p.s. That pizza looks phenomenal!!

That pizza looks equally artisan :) I envy Josh....I'd kill to sit on the couch and have someone deliver home-made pizza :D

Yeah! You know that I am a believer -- I made the bread at your urging, and it IS fabulous! I've done the boule and the baguettes, and still have some dough left. I am going to make this pizza tonight! We've got lots of veggies to use up!
Right now I'm making sandwiches on the panini press with the master recipe: Roll out dough into individual circles, fill like a calzone, seal up, and toss on the press until they're done.
Bagels are next on my list!
Couldn't find the book here & finally found the recipe on MotherEarth I think. I've made the boulle (part oat & part whole wheat flour added)=YUM! I've got dough in the fridge now & I'm thinking pizza for the weekend. Thanks for the inspiration!

You've convinced me! I have to get the book. I think it was when you said "whenever we were craving fresh bread or pizza, we just cut off a portion of the dough." That rocks! The pizza looks awesome!
I have been using whatever Art-in-5 dought I have going on in the fridge for quickie pizza crusts too - I agree, just one more reason that this is a great book to have on hand - for beginners and seasoned bakers alike.
LOVE homemade pizza. I'm making pizza tomorrow night using one of Peter Reinhart's dough recipes.
Nope, not sick of bread, never! taking you at your word that this is the easiest bread to make I ordered the book, should be here Saturday. I'll let you know how it goes and email ya with any questions. ;-)

I was browsing on amazon.com and the #1 selling book is Artisan Bread in 5 minutes. I have yet to buy it, but it's on my list.
It's amazing what blogging can do!
Your pizza looks delicious - thanks for the book recommendation! Is there a yummy whole wheat pizza dough recipe in it?
I've tried this dough before and loved it!
Talk, rave, promote all you want about ABin5...best damn book in my arsenal so far.
The pizza looks fab and I can't wait to try it out meself!
I like everything that I've made so far from this book. I tried making pizza with the olive oil dough, but it didn't work as well as my go-to pizza dough recipe. And I love the convenience of having dough in the fridge all the time.
The book sounds amazing and will have check it out at amazon. Your pizzas turned out perfecto!
As always, your pizza looks delicious. I went to that link and it's like a blog. Is there a beginning to how to really start on that Artisan bread because I do want to try it. I will have to check it out again. If I can do it I would be so happy because I don't doughs and breads ever from scratch.
That book is on my Amazon wishlist! I love making pizza!
I love this book and how versatile the master recipe is.
I still need to pick that book up. The pizza crust looks great!
wow. Looks so wonderful.
Love this book and so nice to see that so many people are baking from it. Haven't tried the pizza crust recipe just yet :)
I made the ABin5 today. We loved the taste of the bread and I can see it getting tastier as the days go by. Kind of like a lazy mans sourdough. I like that. I love that its there in the fridge waiting for its star roll in some kind of bread or pizza. I really need to get the book now.
Nice fill someone in on and this post helped me alot in my college assignement. Gratefulness you seeking your information.
